Regulatory Review
The Chancellor’s autumn statement made reference to the on-going regulatory review to ensure that compliance with regulations did not unduly constrain economic development. The government is to “consider the impact of their decisions on sustainable economic growth and swiftly approve consents… ensuring compliance with Habitats, etc Directives does not lead to unnecessary costs or delays”. This review is surely to be welcomed by consultants and developers…
